Supporting local causes, charities and the community at Cuffs
Cuff Miller has been part of the fabric of Littlehampton and proudly serving our town and the surrounding areas for nearly 80 years. But we don’t just work in and around Littlehampton, our dedicated team live locally too, covering the Sussex coast from Chichester to Worthing, with Cuffs at our centre.
Inside and outside of our roles at Cuffs, there are so many fantastic local causes and charities that many of us have been involved with or have personally touched our lives. As a business we are privileged to be able to support many of these, from local schools and youth organisations to hospices, hospitals and foodbanks, to name a few.
Although we don’t always share what we do, it is with your help and continued custom that we too are able to help and for that we offer our heartfelt thanks. Through some recent conversations with our wonderful customers, many have asked to learn a bit more about what we do and how we are involved with local groups and so it is our pleasure to share some of this with you.
As a small company, we have worked hard to employ creative means to help generate funds and donations beyond what we would be able to contribute by ourselves. From utilising our various advertising channels, such as radio, newspapers or social media to physically supporting with people power or in our Fiesta ST track car (known affectionately as ‘the FiST’); we have been able to better use our budget by investing it to help raise more funds for good causes rather than making a smaller financial donation.
By doing this, we’re proud to have helped a dedicated team of cyclists to exceed their £10,000 fundraising target, to achieve £20,000 in aid of the incredible care given at St. Barnabas House Hospice, (more here). In July 2024, we were able to use The FiST as part of the Peter Saywell Supercar Charity Track Day, taking passengers out on track in turn for a donation to My University Hospitals Sussex, raising funds for our local hospitals at Chichester and Worthing. The event is hugely popular and alongside representing the charity with graphics on the car, we were delighted to help with advertising the event and inviting V2 Radio to join us on track at Goodwood Motor Circuit. Ultimately the event raised a total of £15,000, with the full amount going to the hospitals themselves and we were very pleased to be able to play our part.

We are also able to support a number of campaigns by other organisations, such as the V2 Radio Christmas Toy Appeal for which we have collected and donated annually, ‘Bring us your Bras’ in aid of Against Breast Cancer and we continuously collect for St. Peter and St. Paul’s Pantry, a fantastic local food bank that also provides a safe, friendly social space along with incredible social meals. A cause we are absolutely delighted to support.
But it’s more than just charitable causes that we’re fortunate to be involved with. In our Littlehampton community, we support a number of events such as The Littlehampton Town Show, Christmas Bauble Trail and ‘Screen on the Green’ which brings a giant inflatable screen and shows a movie for free, with over 1.500 people enjoying Wonka down by the sea.
We’re also proud to support a club for local Ford fans, Ford T.E.C (The Enthusiast Club) with members of the team attending with their own cars throughout the year, also supporting many charitable causes. In sport too, you will see us standing with Littlehampton Town FC, “Go the Golds!”.
From raffle prizes to road rallies, tins of food to track days, we are very privileged to be able to give back to our community, once again a huge thank you for your support. Whether it be popping a penny in the collection pots in our Esso Fuel Station for one of the many causes we collect for, buying a poppy, donating a toy or even taking a ride in our track car, we couldn’t do it without you.
Please do keep an eye on our social channels and website for the latest news and events.
