Africa and back in 7 days for Chestnut Tree Hospice
It might sound like the story line from the latest series of TopGear but Toby and Si’s African adventure is a trip that has real heart and requires nerves of steel. Leaving Rustington on the 17th August, Toby and Si will be aiming to drive to Africa in their unquestionably cheeky 2005 Suzuki Alto.
The trip will see them aiming to reach the Western Sahara and back, with a total of 5000 miles to cover in just 7 days… and with no air conditioning and just a small fan to help cool off.
The pair will be raising funds to support the fantastic work carried out by Chestnut Tree House Hospice who provide exceptional care for children and young adults with life shortening illnesses.
Costing over £4m a year to run, Chestnut Tree offers home, respite and end of life care in a way that allows patients to make the very most of every day and supports relatives, friends and family too.
Dealer Principal James Baxter said “It’s fantastic that we are able to continue supporting Chestnut Tree. It’s a cause that’s very close to our hearts at Cuff Miller and it is a pleasure to be able to sponsor Toby and Si on their challenging adventure.”
Please do visit Toby and Si’s Just Giving page and donate if you can. Every pound makes a difference for this fantastic cause.
